Lora A. Keller

Attorney Lora A. Keller is an Associate Attorney with Murphy & Dunn, P.C. Working out of both the Peoria and Bloomington/Normal offices, she handles cases for clients throughout the State of Illinois. Prior to relocating to Illinois in 2010, Lora owned a successful family law practice in Roanoke, Virginia focusing on divorce, custody, visitation, grandparent visitation, child support, foster care, alimony and maintenance, prenuptial agreements, separation agreements, and adoption. She continues that tradition of success with Murphy & Dunn, P.C.

Lora was previously an Assistant State's Attorney in McLean County, where she represented the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services in child support enforcement cases, including establishment of child support, modification of child support, and establishment of paternity. In addition, she prosecuted traffic cases at all stages of the litigation process.

Lora obtained an Honors Bachelor of Arts from Saint Louis University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Columbia, School of Law. After law school, Lora clerked for the Honorable William Ray Price, Jr. on the Missouri Supreme Court. Lora is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Peoria County Bar Association and the McLean County Bar Association, where she was previously the Chair of the Family Law Committee. Lora is licensed to practice law in Illinois, Missouri, and Virginia.

Lora is committed to using her experience, skills, and knowledge to achieve the best results for the clients of Murphy & Dunn, P.C. Lora works on the legal team lead by Senior Paralegal Lori L. Peters and primarily on cases with Managing Partner G. Edward Murphy and fellow Associate Attorney Christopher A. Nelson. Together their team handles all cases and all aspects of divorce, custody and family law related matters for the firm.
